During The Holidays

During the holidays my family and I went to my baby cousin's birthday. She turned one. 
First we played pass the parcel. We passed it around until the music stopped. I opened the parcel and I saw bubbles. We had chocolate cake and doughnuts. It tasted yum. After everyone had cake, all my friends got a lolly bag and went home.

How A Volano Works?

In Room 2 we are interested to learn how volcano works. When the volcano erupts it looks like fire works. the ash cloud shoots into the air. The atmosphere gets hotter and hotter. The ice melts and the sea rises. The flat islands will disappear. The lava pours down the sides of the mountains like a stream. It destroys all the living things on its way.

Grandma and I

Learning Goal: I am learning to write a narrative text.

Success criteria: I can do this when I have

•  a Title
• Beginning: Who is the story about?
• Middle: describe the problem and the solution
• End: What happened at the end?

Grandma and I

Grandma lived with my family for three weeks. She loved her cup of tea and cakes.

One day mum gave her a cup of tea. Grandma spilled her cup of tea on her hands. She called out to me. I called the ambulance. The ambulance took grandma to the hospital. The doctor made her better.

I felt happy because I saved grandma.
